Innovations in Practice Awards

The Department of Health and Human Services is proud to present the 2011 Innovations in Practice Awards. The Awards were launched within the Department on Monday, 4 October 2011.


The Innovations in Practice Awards celebrate innovative practices and projects that lead to improvements in the experiences of patients’ and clients’ as they use services provided by the Department.


In particular the Awards recognise fulfilment of the key objectives of Leading the Way:

  • Valuing the Client and Patients Experience
  • Safety and Quality
  • Supporting Strong Leadership at all Levels
  • New Ways of Working

Award Categories

 
Prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories:-


1. Client / Patient Centred Care
2. Client / Patient Safety
3. New Ways of Working


The winners of the major categories will be awarded $4 000 for the benefit of patients in their service areas.

2010 Innovations in Practice Awards Winner
