Public and Environmental Health

The role of Public and Environmental Health is to monitor the health of the Tasmanian population, and put in place programs to protect or promote health. Public and Environmental Health Services does much of this work directly, and also works collaboratively with other state and Commonwealth government agencies, local government, community groups and the private sector.
