National Rental Affordability Scheme

The Commonwealth's National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) has been introduced to reduce rental costs for low to moderate income households through the provision of tax incentives to increase the supply of affordable housing for rent to eligible tenants for a period of ten years. More information about NRAS including Australian and Tasmanian Government contributions can be found in a document titled NRAS Information Package produced by the Housing Innovations Unit.
