Fight Breast Cancer with Design

The Department of Health and Human Services has commissioned a new Mobile Screening Unit (MSU) to provide breast screening services within regional areas of Tasmania. The unit will be highly visual and as such needs to represent not only the work of BreastScreen Tasmania but the geographic and demographic diversity of the population, and the beauty of our island state.

Mobile screening units are widely used throughout Australia, particularly in remote areas.  The units are immediately recognised across the country as a mobile screening clinic bringing services to local communities. Their presence motivates women to take care of their health and book an appointment.

BreastScreen Tasmania is running a competition to seek the design for the outside "skin" of the new vehicle. The competition carries prize money of $2000 for the successful design. The closing date for entries is 28 August 2015. For entry details, terms and conditions and dimensions of the finished project please see below.
