Bringing Nurses Back into the Workforce Program (BNBW)

The Commonwealth Government through the Department of Health and Ageing is providing incentives for nurses to return to practice. The aim of the program is to encourage 6,200 nurses Australia wide to return to the public hospital system over a five year period.

BNBW in Tasmania

Tasmania has been allocated funding for a limited number of nurses and midwives to return to practice. The fact sheet below provides detailed information on eligibility criteria for nurses and midwives, cash bonuses, instalments and taxation information.
