The Disability Policy and Research Working Group

The Disability Policy and Research Working Group (DPRWG) is a standing committee of the Community and Disability Services Ministers' Advisory Council (CDSMAC).

The DPRWG comprises members from all jurisdictions' government disability agencies.  It is responsible for managing the reform activities that take place under the National Disability Agreement between the Commonwealth and state/territory governments.

The National Disability Agreement sets out initial priorities for reform which will put in place some of the key elements needed to drive national improvements.  One priority is the Access to Aids and Equipment - consistent access to aids and equipment by the end of 2012.

Core List of Equipment

As a result of this priority a core list of equipment has been developed which outlines the aids and equipment available through each jurisdiction, and is available here.
