The Disability Policy Group (DPG) is an advisory group to the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Disability Reform Council (DRC).
The DRC oversees the trial and implementation of the NDIS and will make recommendations to COAG on the transition to NDIS full scheme. The Disability Reform Council will also ensure a broad range of reforms are implemented through the National Disability Agreement and the National Disability Strategy to support people with disability, their families and carers.

The DPG comprises members from all jurisdictions government disability agencies. It is responsible for managing the reform activities that take place under the National Disability Agreement between the Commonwealth and state/territory governments, the implementation of the National Disability Strategy and the policy and design of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
