Facilitators may come from a wide diversity of professional backgrounds. The role requires a high level of skills and experience in engagement, assessment, group work, mediation, organisation, report writing and communication and a commitment to and belief in the process of family group conferencing as a process to achieve positive outcomes in relation to the care and protection of children.
If you are interested in becoming a facilitator you will need to submit an application addressing the selection criteria. The recruitment process includes an interview, training and working alongside a mentor.
