About the Gambling Support Program
Funded by the Community Support Levy
The Gambling Support Program is responsible for:
- Gambling Social Policy
- Gambling Support Services for people affected by gambling
- Gambling Research – social policy and projects
- Community Education and Harm Minimisation
- The Charitable Organisations Grant Program
Tasmania has in place an Integrated Gambling Framework to maximise the benefits from legal gambling while minimising the impacts of any negative social consequences.
The Framework brings together government, stakeholders from the gambling industry, and the community, to promote partnerships and inform policy to address social issues and concerns relating to gambling.
