Architects and the Project User Group
Architects - Forward Brianese won the contract to design the new Integrated Care Centre/GP Super Clinic and are on track to complete the first phase of schematic design by April 2009.
A Project User Group (PUG) has been established to assist Forward Brianese with the design of the centre to ensure that the specific needs and requirements of each service area within the centre are met. This group meet on a fortnightly basis.
Clarence ICC/GP Super Clinic project manager - Sally Williams chairs the PUG with executive support provided by Clarence ICC/GP Super Clinic project officer - Catherine Featherstone. The project team is supported by Greg Cooper, Project Manager, Facilities Management. Greg will be leading the redevelopment of the facility, and has responsibility for the team of consultants contracted to undertake the building works.

The PUG reports through to the Clarence ICC Project Steering Committee which is the committee responsible for the business issues associated with the Clarence project. The members of the steering committee are as follows:

Larraine Millar Executive Director of Continuum of Care, Royal Hobart Hospital
Fred Howard A/Manager Southern Area Services, Primary Health Services

The steering committee meet on a six weekly basis and its role is to provide oversight and guidance to the Project Owner and Project Manager to ensure that the project is implemented successfully and delivers the outcomes that have been specified in the Project Business Plan.
