This report considers the facility design options at a conceptual level on both the Railyards site and the current Royal Hobart Hospital site. The bulk of this Report was completed in early 2008.

This report details the preferred option for a new hospital in sufficient detail to enable schematic design and preliminary works to proceed. The bulk of the Report was completed in the later half of 2008.

Functional Brief [PDF 12MB]

This report details the agreed service and operational outputs of the Royal Hobart Hospital and informs the design team of the physical requirements of the hospital infrastructure. Effectively this is the brief for the design team to develop the Project Definition Plan. The bulk of this document was completed in 2008 and issues identified by the RHH Core Business Review (Dec 08) have not been included.
