Managing the project
The redevelopment of the Royal Hobart Hospital is the biggest project the Tasmanian Government has ever undertaken. It is imperative that the project be well-managed and well-planned.
The Royal Hobart Hospital Redevelopment project team, working within the Department of Health and Human Services, is managing the project.
A detailed governance structure is in place to ensure important stakeholders from within government, the department and the hospital are involved and to ensure the project team is receiving the best advice from expert consultants and local industry and community.
