Ambulance & Patient Transport
The Ambulance and Health Transport Service provides emergency ambulance care and a non-emergency patient transport service through a network of stations across the state as well as medical retrieval services using fixed wing aircraft and helicopter transfers.
Financial assistance for travel and/or accommodation costs may also be available to patients under the Patient Travel Assistance Shceme (PTAS) - see the link below for more information.
