Multipurpose Services (MPS) are distinguished from other integrated health services in Tasmania in how they are funded allowing for greater flexibility in the services they provide.
Tasmania has three Multipurpose Services. The West Tamar Health and Community Service at Beaconsfield, the Campbell Town Health and Community Service.
The Tasman Multipurpose Service is operated by the Tasman Council.
MPS offer a full range of hospital, aged care and community services. The integration of the service delivery promotes interaction between services which ultimately benefits the client.
