Environmental Health

The Environmental Health Services unit protects and promotes the environmental health and well-being of the Tasmanian population.

The unit advises on the public health aspects of environmental issues, hazards and control strategies and regulates the environmental health provisions under the Public Health Act 1997 and the Food Act 2003.
