Sir John Ramsay Memorial Library - a Library Service for DHHS Staff and Health Professionals

Library facilities are available free of change to all DHHS staff.

Tasmanian Health Professionals have access to library services provided by DHHS libraries on a fee for service basis.

Resources

• Over 3000 books, videos and tapes for loan
• Over 200 journals for reference - many are full text online
• Intranet site with online journals and databases available to all staff of the DHHS

Online information including:

• EPOCH (Electronic Portal for Online Clinical Health) - password required.
• Ovid Medline linked to major journals via EPOCH (password needed)
• EBSCO Medline, CINAHL, Psychinfo and full text journals via EPOCH (password needed)
• Cochrane Systematic Reviews
• UpToDate (restricted to use on the LGH site)
• Drug Information (restricted to use on the LGH site)
