Mental Health Services North

Service delivery of Mental Health Services in the north of Tasmania is managed by the Northern Area Management Unit.

The adult, child and older persons community mental health services are all centrally located in Launceston but deliver community services to the entire northern region which covers Break O Day, West Tamar, George Town, Launceston, Dorset, Northern Midlands, Meander Valley and Flinders Island.

The inpatient unit, Northside Mental Health Clinic is located within the Launceston General Hospital.

Services on Flinders Island are delivered in partnership with GP North.
