Mental Health Services in Tasmania

Mental Health Services directly delivers care to Tasmanians with severe mental health conditions in inpatient facilities and in the community.

Mental Health Services also work in partnership with the community sector to deliver support services to those who have moderate to severe mental health conditions. Assistance can also be provided by mainstream health care providers, private specialists and facilities as well as General Practitioners (GP). For many people their GP will be their first point of contact.
