Public Health Services is calling for public submissions on its discussion paper on the use of electronic cigarette devices in Tasmania.
At the moment no restrictions apply to the availability and use of nicotine-free electronic cigarettes in Tasmania.
Public Health Services wants to hear views from individuals, businesses and organisations on whether this should remain the case.
The discussion paper, Options for a public health – response to electronic cigarettes, and response template are available at www.dhhs.tas.gov/publichealth/tobacco_control/electronic-cigarettes
Submissions will be published online unless clearly marked as confidential and anonymous submissions will not be accepted.
