The Department of Health and Human Services Emergency Management Plan (the Plan) is the Agency’s peak emergency management document. It directly supports the Tasmanian Emergency Management Plan and describes the health and human service-based emergency prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery roles allocated to the Department’s major Business Units. The Plan also outlines the national and state level context in which the Agency maintains its emergency capabilities, emergency coordination arrangements, and responsibilities and accountabilities.
