This Formulary has been developed to provide information for healthcare professionals involved in prescribing and caring for adult patients receiving palliative care. Children have their own very special needs and specialist advice should be sought on the management of children who require palliative care.
The formulary has five main sections:
- Matching symptoms to medication
- Medication monographs
- Use of syringe drivers
- Prescribing outside of license
- Drug interactions
