Recall of frozen vegetable products

The Department of Health advises Greenyard Frozen Belgium NV has recalled various frozen vegetable products from Woolworths, IGA and independent grocery stores in Tasmania and nationally because of possible contamination with the microorganism Listeria monocytogenes.

Listeria may cause illness in pregnant women and their unborn babies, the elderly and people with low immune systems.

A full list of the products affected by the recall is available on the FSANZ website

Consumers with the product in their freezer should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of it.

Consumers who have eaten the product and feel unwell should see a health professional.
