Food Safety

We encourage you to provide healthy and safe food for children. For legislative requirements see Food Safety Manual for Tasmanian Education and Care Services, it contains the information you need. There is also a Food Safety Guide for Family Day Care Educators

Family Food Patch Program

The Family Food Patch Program is run by the Child Health Association Tasmania. It creates a network of family food patch educators who are trained to share information, and build community skills about healthy eating and physical activity for children. View family food patch education videos on food, nutrition, active play and oral health for children.
