Food safety
We help make sure food made, sold or eaten in Tasmania is safe.
We regulate and monitor food safety with local councils and other government departments. We also develop, implement and advise on food safety policy and legislation, and coordinate food incidents such as recalls and outbreaks of food-borne disease.
