Tandara Lodge Community Care Inc - North West

Tandara Lodge Community Care Inc. is a community owned non profit organisation. Tandara operates on the North West Coast of Tasmania within the municipality of Kentish, with services spreas across the region. Tandara operates a Residential Aged Care Facility located at Sheffield (the town of murals), community care throughout the region, 38 independent living units (located at Sheffield and Railton), a HACC funded day centre as well as regional health services.

Tandara provides low cost housing for those fitting the eligibility criteria. A mixture of one and two bedroom independent living units are located in Sheffield and Railton. Maintenance is carried out by Tandara.

Eligibility:

  • Must be in receipt of aged or disabled government benefits
  • Required to have referrs
  • Require completion of application form to be placed on waiting list
  • Occupancy is based upon interviews carried out by management of Tandara and any offer to take up a unit is at the sole discretion of Tandara.
