The TSQAP will occasionally close growing areas for short periods due to environmental conditions such as heavy rainfall or toxic algal blooms. During these periods harvesting is not permitted.
The TSQAP maintains a list of Approved and Approved Conditional growing areas in Tasmania and their current harvesting status. Please note that administrative delays may occur posting this notice on the web.
The current closures are also available on a recorded message on 03 62227784. This message is updated within two hours of a closure / re-opening.
