Following receipt of the application, a Child Protection Worker will arrange to visit your home to undertake an assessment of the suitability of the placement for the children. Part of the assessment discussion will be about the reasons for the placement, progress with the placement and the benefits for the child/ren.
At the time of the assessment interview you will be asked to provide your bank account details as the Relative Allowance payments are made electronically into your bank account.
