Clarendon Children and Family Services provides a family support program to prevent family breakdown.

Clarendon currently provides a small family support program. It has two three-bedroomed units with accommodation for families with the aim of preventing family breakdown. The units provide medium-term accommodation of up to one year. Clarendon staff provide support and counselling for families in residence. The units are not used as crisis accommodation. Clarendon also provides a limited amount of family support to families in the community.

The Clarendon Board is currently developing an intensive early intervention program aimed at preventing children entering out-of-home care.
