Epilepsy Association of Tasmania

Education and Training Coordinators can meet with people wherever they prefer, their home, the Association office or anywhere within the community.
Group sessions are also available.

The Epilepsy Association of Tasmania provide information and support to all those affected by epilepsy within the community.

The association provides a range of services, including:

  • Information
  • Counselling - home visits, office visits, telephone
  • Community education
  • Support networks and groups
  • Camps
  • Lending library of books and videos
  • Quarterly newsletter for members
  • Hospital support/clinics
  • Seminars and workshops - Midazolam Training for Emergency Management of siezures.

Hours can vary and usually operate as follows:

South: Monday and Thursday
North: Monday, Thursday and Friday.
North West: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Education and Training Coordinators are often out in the field but can often be reached by their mobile phone.
