The W P Holman Clinic Launceston provides outpatient Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Clinical Haematology Services of the highest quality to patients referred by their GP or specialist. The clinic also has an active support of cancer research within Tasmania.
The clinic is housed in the Launceston General Hospital complex and provides modern specialist cancer services in addition to having direct access to all other hospital services that may be required.
Medical oncology and clinical haematology services include diagnosis, medical treatment and follow-up to patients with cancer or a haematological diagnosis. Chemotherapy, blood product support, monoclonal antibody infusions, plasmapheresis and haematological procedures are delivered.
Radiation oncology provides curative and palliative radiation therapy utilising modern linear accelerators and high dose rate brachytherapy.
