Pharmacy offers a wide range of professional services including dispensing of medications (inpatient and outpatient) and drug information.
The Pharmacy Departments are located in the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital and the North West Regional Hospital, they also provide services to district hospitals, dental services and community nursing.
In addition to dispensing medication as an inpatient service Pharmacy can provide medication reviews, counselling and monitoring to patients on the wards.
As an outpatient service Pharmacy provides a dispensing service, drug information and a community education service.
