Tasmanian Association of Community Houses offers support and information

to the community.

Services offered by the Tasmanian Association of Community Houses include:

  • Deliver effective support to the Neighbourhood House infrastructure to assist them to deliver high quality services.
  • Raise profile of the Neighbourhood House to all levels of the community, business and local and state governments.
  • Act as a coordinating body for all the Houses and their communities.
  • Provide advice to the government.
  • Provide advice on matters related to the Department of Health and Human Services management of Neighbourhood Houses.

Service delivery options include:

  • Individual advice and assistance by mail, telephone or email
  • Provision of resources
  • Training sessions regionally and statewide
  • Visits to the communities

Service Eligibility

Our services are available firstly to our Member houses and their communities.

Cost Information

Generally free of charge.
Houses pay an annual membership fee and some training sessions are offered on a subsidised fee basis.
