Forensic Mental Health Services

A community based multidisciplinary service, supported by a strong commitment from the Tasmanian Government to improve health outcomes for individuals involved in the criminal justice system.

Community Forensic Mental Health Services offers mental health assessment, liaison, counselling, support, advice and referral. We are statewide with offices in Launceston and Hobart and career opportunities include psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and court liaison officers.

Correctional Primary Health Services

Working in correctional health provides experiences and challenges quite different to those in hospital and community settings.  Our patients often face a range of health issues and we are seeking people with qualifications in Mental Health and/or Drug and Alcohol assessment and counselling.
