Common Approach Training

The Department of Health and Human Services is committed to supporting the promotion of the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Young People's (ARACY) Common Approach in Tasmania.

The Common Approach is an evidence based framework designed to support professionals to have quality conversations with young people and their families about all aspects of wellbeing. It seeks to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families through early intervention and prevention. More information on the Common Approach is available on ARACY's website.

To support the promotion of the Common Approach in Tasmania, the Department of Health and Human Services is sponsoring two training sessions in December 2016. These one day training sessions help practitioners build their capacity for prevention focused work to support child and family wellbeing.

This training, which would normally cost $660, is being offered free of charge for up to 40 participants. There are 20 spaces available in each session.
