The John Morris Gallery

The Clifford Craig Foundation
5th Floor, Launceston General Hospital

A new hanging of artworks for the John Morris Gallery include the late Mathew Tyson and Muriel Sluce two well known artists of Launceston. The small exhibition consists of 7 works each of which were a gift to the Friends of Clifford Craig Foundation.

The  Launceston Friends of Clifford Craig are a group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to raise money for the Foundation’s medical research program here in Northern Tasmania.

They take great pride in their support for medical research and are very active through the year with a number of fundraising events including Melbourne Cup Luncheon, Spring Garden Fete, Winter Soup & Sandwich Luncheon, Bunnings Sausage Sizzle and Mother’s Day Luncheon.

The Launceston Friends have contributed enormously to the Foundation over the years, not only in their fundraising endeavours but also with their enthusiasm, commitment and thousands of hours spent volunteering.

All paintings are for sale and range in price from $200 - $800. They accompany works from Nigel Lazenby, Paul A.C. Richards, Darren Meader and Rodney Gardner.
